The name Hey Pal Fishing is in memorial to Capt. Harry's dear friend Donald Jones who was an avid outdoorsman. Together they both learned how to fish the ocean initially as surf fisherman in Montauk NY then and along the New Jersey coast. Friends for over 30 years Don would greet his friends new and old by saying "Hey Pal". 

It is from this greeting that Capt. Harry named this charter business in the memory of his best friend with the blessing of the family.

Don's son Trevor still fishes the family boat (for pleasure use only) out of Barnegat Inlet and has named the vessel "Hey Pal" in remembrance of his father and the great memories.
